How to be happy

We are naturally happy, when we are babies we have an underlying feeling of happiness. Even when babies cry or they are hungry, they are happy to be in this experience. They command attention and they don't think that crying or negative emotion is bad. We are naturally happy because our inner being is our joy and bliss, and that part of us is huge and has so much momentum. When we realize that we can be happy even in negative emotion, that's when life becomes so joyful. Contrast becomes so delicious and exciting.

We have come to believe that negative emotion is bad because somewhere along the way someone told us this is not good. That's a bogus belief. Emotions are just feed back. Nothing serious is going on. Here are three easy mind hacks to get you started (these are to be used on top of alignment techniques)

Okay, here are some tips on how to turn your whole life into a happiness fest.

Step 1, decide that you will make your whole life about happiness and joy. For example, instead of separating your day into, alignment, then work, then cooking, then working out, then relationships, then relaxing, turn it all into a happiness game. I'm doing this this is happiness work, I'm cooking this pleases me and keeps me healthy and refreshed. I'm doing this and this is happiness work, I'm connecting with my partner because this is beneficial and it's happiness.

Step 2, in negative emotion think underneath this emotion I am happy. At the core of my being I am joyful. I'm feeling emotion and this makes me happy. I am expanding and that makes me happy. It's easy to feel happy.

Step 3, Make everyone else irrelevant. Not caring about another's opinion is happiness. Not ever getting it wrong is my happiness. Taking deep breaths uncovers my underlying happiness. Praising myself reveals my happiness that is already there.

Step 4, ignore the discord. This is probably the least popular one but this is the most effective. Ignore your negative emotion and negative thoughts. Ignore negative situations. This is so easy and natural to us watch kids how good they are at this. This takes away the magnifying power you poses -your focus. Once, you take away your focus, the problem, negative momentum peters out. It's a favorite technique I have re-discovered. It turns you into super human.

Happiness feels like satisfaction, it feels like ease. It feels like flow. It feels like fresh air. It feels like excitement. Happiness feels like a joyful heart. Steady emotions.
